Wow, there really are a lot of new people coming. I hope everyone's settling in well! I can show anyone around if you need to find out where something is, okay?

Hey, I was thinking... The two guides that are still on the network... How long ago were they written? Because I don't think either of those people are in the City anymore, so they can't be updated with new information or anything.

I think what I'm trying to say-- Maybe we should write a more updated guide for people. And I'd like to include a map as well.

There's something important... I can't remember.

I thought so too, since the ones we always give out are... really old..

I hope so too, but... I think it was something different.

Indeed, and the issue of 'fictional' persons is not addressed as comprehensively as I think it ought to be.

Different from what? You mean that it had nothing to do with new people?

But... some people may not want to know that right when they first get here.

I don't think it did. I think it was something important to me. ...I'm not sure.

There is that, although my idea was more to suggest it and mentally prepare people for the eventuality of finding books about themselves. On the flip side, it's also important that they be made aware that they might meet people who they are used to thinking of as fictional and suggestions for how to deal with it. I think that might help curb negative or confused reactions on both sides.

Ah. If only I were psychic I'd pluck it out of your head and remind you - can telepaths even do that? - but as it is I hope you remember...
