The curse yesterday was fun to watch! The City was really pretty, too. They were fairytales, right? There were so many that I didn't know. Wilder-san, I'm sorry I couldn't show you around much. The curse made things difficult. But I can show you more another day?

I should go tomorrow and get groceries. Wolfwood-san... only has instant food. I'll go in the morning.

Kurogane-san, we can pick training back up tomorrow afternoon, right? Thank you for helping me find a new sword.

Bossun-san! I'm sorry, I forgot I was going to go with you before I left the City. Do you still want to go?

Wolfwood-san... Will Stryfe-san be all right with me being here?

[ooc; Zelos-mun, assuming she did try to show him around yesterday, if that's all right.]

Mm, did you know any of them, Stryfe-san?

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, some of them. And I probably only really know shadows of what they truly were, sadly.

[identity profile] redstrength.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:03 am (UTC)(link)
...Truly were? You mean that's not how they really are?

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:04 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know. A lot of books were rewritten after the Big Fall back home, so I can only assume so?

[identity profile] redstrength.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:28 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, okay.

...What was the "Big Fall", if it's okay for me to ask?

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
The Big Fall was when... well, something went wrong with the ships carrying our ancestors, and they fell to the planet we grew up on.

[identity profile] redstrength.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:43 am (UTC)(link)
Ah-- You were leaving your world on ships? Like, shuttles?

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:53 am (UTC)(link)
That's right. We left Earth, because it was no longer habitable.

[identity profile] redstrength.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 10:55 am (UTC)(link)
...It wasn't? What happened?

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 11:07 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't alive during that time, obviously, but essentially, we were... The way my grandmother explained it was that we were too greedy with its resources so it could no longer be our home. It couldn't support us.

[identity profile] redstrength.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 11:12 am (UTC)(link)
But... Surely there was something people tried to do...

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 11:22 am (UTC)(link)
Not until we were gone. Apparently after a century and some, they found a way to restore it. That's what we were told by some Earth Fleet survivors after a... situation when they arrived. Chronica knows better than any of us.

[identity profile] redstrength.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 11:25 am (UTC)(link)
...So the Earth was okay?

[identity profile] inyourbusiness.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 11:35 am (UTC)(link)
I guess so? I can't fathom it was as easy as planting a few seeds, if it was so bad off almost two centuries ago that millions of our ancestors had to be evacuated into stasis ships.
