Thank you to the people who were helping me yesterday, and Vash-san for fixing that dinner. Faye-san, your cheer was cute nice. I hope I wasn't trouble for anyone.

Looks like there's another big group of people arriving in the City this week. I hope none of them arrived in the curse yesterday. That would've been confusing today to see everyone grown up again...

I forgot about all that happening when I was younger. ...Now that I think about it, Kurogane really does look like my father. Maybe that's why I looked up to him. But father came back a few years later, so it wasn't so bad.

This place is called the City, and the deities that run it cause curses that happen every few days. And they can change anything, from how we look and act to the City itself. There's not really any control over who's affected or how to avoid it. There's not a way out either. The harder you look for a way out, the less likely you are to find one.

As for where to stay, I think you can just find an empty apartment in one of the tall buildings around the Square and claim it, but you have to pay rent and for food.
