I'm starting to think maybe this City really does thrive on people's negative feelings. Even without the curses and deities, the people here cause enough problems on their own. In the last week, I've seen nothing but people arguing and fighting with each other. That alone wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for everything else going on with those traps and people going missing. They still haven't found Kuromi-san, either. ...I wish Wolfwood would at least let me know he's safe somewhere.

I'm tired of this. I need to find a way to help.

...More people are arriving in the City. Kurogane came too, but he's gone now. It was nice seeing him again, but maybe it's better he's not here. I wonder if Umi or Fuu will show up here. I kind of hope they won't, not while everything here is going on, but ...It'd be nice to have them here with me. We promised to do everything together, after all. I miss them. I hope they're all right.



Wow, there certainly are a lot of people showing up now, aren't there? I hope they're all settling in well.

Lilo-san? Did you ever find anyone to surf with you? Oh! Kid-san, I heard there was a pile of shoes over in the Square. Have you found yours yet? If you haven't, maybe it's in there? It wouldn't hurt to look.

Kyrie-san, thanks for letting me stay here with you all, but is there anything I can do around the place to help or something? Maybe cook dinner for the next few nights or help clean things up?

I do. I had a sensei that was Japanese. His name was Shiro. He spoke Russian - my tongue - perfectly, but I insisted also on learning some of his. I know little bits, though I have not practiced in many years.

That's really amazing! I don't think I could ever learn another language, let alone speak it fluently like that. I'm surprised people here can understand me ...or me undestand them for that matter. Maybe I can help you practice, if you like?

Russian I was born into, and it is never hard to master the only language you know. English comes more difficultly to me. So many words that sound the same but that possess vastly different meanings. Ah, you need not call me '-san'.

As is their sentence structure. The entire language is a bit crude, compared to Russian.
